I’ve never used it but I know a lot. Of people use it for up to a 90 min bath to provide relief for fish. I think it is a good product to have on hand. I guess it depends on what you are trying to achieve with it.

ok, wash thinking of returning unopen bottles to LFS

Save your money and return it. If you really have ICH then I would suggest removing al your fish and treating them in a QT and let you tank go fallow for 80 days. I go 80 just to be safe. It’s really sad that there are so many snake oils out there claiming they will resolve all your problems but end up causing more

It’s good for use as a bath to battle infection, doesn’t irradicate ich on it’s own but can help prevent secondary infections from occurring. It’s also good to use as a bath to help fight uronema, in conjunction with other medications in QT. The main active ingredient is acriflavine, but it also has a small amount of formalin.

I wouldn’t take it back, it does come in handy. I keep a bottle around.

Acriflavine

+1 ^^^^ @ngoodermuth has given you very helpful info above. Ruby Reef Rally is a tool I always keep in my med kit. It has both antiseptic and antibiotic qualties. Kich-Ich, not so much.
Actually I think Kordon Kick Ich can be effective against brook.
