The eggs are deffinitly worth the money, and the package is going to last me atleast 4 to 6 months. Its also a perfect size for corals. I havnt tryd to gut it yet, i just took a chunk off and cut it into squares sack and all!!lol

I have eventually started cutting some small chunks (enough for about 2 days) thawing and separating the eggs from the egg sac. At first I was scraping them but found that if I thawed the chunk and then stirred it up really well it would separate just about on its own. Then I just remove the parts of the egg sac and good to go.

My rhomboid nd lineatus were the only ones who ate the skin/egg strands lol. It took me a long time to get half the eggs off out of the small piece i cut so ill prob just leave it.

It's not easy to separate at all but Imo I don't think there's a need to

We are really excited about the feeding response and amazing nutrition these fresh eggs provide. We recently added the fatty acid test results to our website which show great levels of beneficial fats. ^^^ That is exactly what we recommend.^^^ Simply chop off a small piece and thaw it in water for a couple of days while keeping the rest of the egg sac in the freezer. It is a little more DIY than some egg products sold but we felt the intact egg sac provides an additional level of protection agains freezer burn. We have yet to hear any complaints back from customers who have tried the eggs.

My wife doesn't even complain when she has to gut all the fish to get the eggs out.:D:D:D

Got 5 more of these little munchkins today, these little guys will be chillin in their tupperware condo in my sump to clean w.e frags or rocks that have aiptasia on them.

Nice!! They're a good size where did you find them? I picked up a few Very small ones a week or so ago. Can't wait for them to grow up and get to work!

Haha got them from a lfs, theyre around a 1/2 maybe bigger. I put 7 in my tank last week and thought they died up untill last night i seem them running around lol. I used berghias a while back and was the best aiptasia investment i ever made but it took about 4 5 months.The one problem is i had a 3 inch frag disk covered in berghia eggs, and watched them all get gavoned down by amphipods in 1 sitting. So hopefully they find a way to breed succesfully, im going to atleast try with these guys i just got

I cant even begin to explain all the motions and potions and aiptasia lazers ive used that did jack. Imo the only way to keep them in check comes down to having an animal that will eat them + survive to always eat them. I basically kill my corals in qt and still manage to get them. Ive used glue,epoxy,aiptasiax/joejuice/lemon vinegar peroxide/ hot water / majano wand, even the lazors and the aiptasia would always toss those white strings out into the water column just for more to pop back up in a month or so. Hopefully 12 of the berghia will be enuff but well see

Quick little story, so i happen to never feed my corals. I will only wip out a baster when i accidently OD with putting frozen food in my cup i use to feed my fish. This is for only acans blastos and favias as they NEED to be fed sometimes. Quick thanks to brs for giving me a reef chili for w.e reason in my order. So i figured what the heck, my fish eat it and i recently bought a gorg so i started using 1 spoonfull a day. Needless to say for the past 2-3 weeks my sps exploaded in random growth + the only change ive made was using reef chili. Now im a strong believer in using different fish food yields different results for your corals, because if you think about it, i use a quart of prime reef flakes every 2 months and the nutrients have to be going somewere(the same thing as buying acropower-coralvital-aminos ect). If i use this much in foods like nori/pellets/coralfoods(except SA) i cant even imagine how brown my tank would be. I do not use gfo, just carbon meshsocks water changes and skimming. Im not a believer in seeing fast results, because i see my tank everyday and cant evaluate if things are growing fast or not. But when you see 10 new growth tips on corals from using reefchili in 4 days, it has to be doing somthing right

Bens interstellar (no not the gold ones). This one morph hasnt ben in the hobby for more then a year and its starting to grab yellow dots.

Its acually one of my favorite shrooms. I sold/traded about 16 frags of them this past year, along with 1 mother. Both of them were running in circles around a tonga branch dropping babys like crazy. Not sure where you live but i think ill be bringing a few frags of them to rap
