Are there any LPS that won’t sting my candy canes to death? I like acans a lot and favia but I hear they sting. I also have a small zoa colony that I can’t ID yet so idk how hardy they are. Photos of my colonies attached.

Parameters are:

-Ammonia 0 ppm
-Nitrate 15 ppm
-Nitrite 0 ppm
-pH 8.0-8.2

Neither acans, nor Favias would be able to hurt your candy canes unless they were directly touching it.
just give about 2-3” between each coral and won’t really be able to fight.
If you like acans, get them, and keep them on the sand bed

As long as the corals aren’t right next to one another they won’t sting each other. I have 80 different corals in 25 gallon lagoon. Any corals that will sting each other just need a little space

Only things that can really “reach” far and hurt something is corals like euphyllia (hammers, torch’s etc)

I’ve got a 32 Gal biocube and my scape is mostly vertical. I’m worried about keeping acans in sand because of my engineer goby. Would they be ok a little higher up maybe 3-4” off the sand bed?

I added some info and the pic of the blasto frag I want from my LFS if you don’t mind looking. It’s 25$ so I don’t think that’s bad and it’s gorgeous.
