Josh - @joshbrinzo thank you so much - this is exactly the kind of feedback i was hoping to get.
would love to see pictures... if you can post them here - great - or PM me.

i am trying to justify the price to myself. and i need that extra push. The pictures on his website dont tell me how they hold up. How the spleening done? can you share how they look from the bottom where the net fits the top?

thanks again for chiming in. I appreciate it.
Just threw some pictures in for you. I can send you more if you’d like. Whatever you need, let me know!

Toplids makes some great lids. Got one for my 25 IM ext and my 150 ext. Both look and work excellent. On top of that their customer service is top notch. Contacted me on a sunday night to let me know he was working on my lid. The owners a great guy to deal with, and will make sure that the buyer is always happy with his product. The vented design completely mitigates condensation on the lid. Also, since the lid is recessed in the tank, cleaning the upper portions of the tank were so much easier. With other companies, water would spill over the front glass everytime the magnet got close to the waterline. Not anymore.

i got a quote from him.... he said 350.
my only problem with his design is that its not ventilated. And that would mean condensated water on the lid frame.
other than that - i have bought nori feeders, and other things from him and his stuff is top notch. Never had a problem with him.
I love mine and would do it again. It is a show piece. I went with safe lids because the machining and detail. Owner txt me through out the process .

Topic is very timely for me. I emailed them yesterday asking about a 3 piece lid for my tank. Hope to hear from them soon. I have a different brand lid at the moment and am not happy with it at all.

Thank you so much sir.

The lid looks amazing. I am very happy for you.

Side question - what happens if that spleen comes out? i dont see extra netting at the edge. Seems like it was cut really close to the end and rolled up under the spleen. If the spleen ever comes out - and i dont know if it ever would - you think you could press it back in?

or is that something that doesnt happen with these lids?

I’ve had this thought too. Honestly it’s on there pretty good. I was looking at it a couple weeks back because it was something I never thought of, but it looks like something that would be hard to detach. I would imagine you could press it back on though. I’ll take another pic under better light too if you’d like. Hoping this helps some people.

They have many options for doors. The owner sent me this via text when I was making my lids. Im running a 2xl on my large tank and a medium for my smaller lid. I have small hands and Im glad I didnt get the small. Medium is the least anyone should go. The 2xl is the perfect size for my 48x30 tank

Feeding door is about 4” x 2.75”. Screen rolled under with rubber like you’d use for a screen door. It’s extremely snug and in well. The overall construction of the top is high quality and a million times better than the Red Sea top I had prior.
