Francis is looking super good today and enjoying his Nori clip :)

How big is Francis?
With his fins fully extended he is about 7 inches tall and 6 or so inches nose to tail! Got him from a local reefer whose tank he outgrew. Took him a while to show his full desjardini colors!

Very nice. I've kicked around the idea of adding one but am afraid of upsetting the peaceful nature of the tank which already has 8 tangs in it.
8 Tangs NICE. I will be doing the same thing. Is the Naso the peacekeeper?

Lol yeah Francis can be a butthead. Likes to occasionally pick fights with my eels! He also chases new fish around!

She's the food grabber but other than being larger and faster she is super mellow. I'm pretty lucky as I have a purple that is peaceful as well. The yellows will do a little chase once in a while but not bad. The convict thinks he's boss but he doesn't realize he has no scalpal so his tail smacks don't intimidate.

Lol!! I rescued a powder brown who had his removed (awful!!!) and he did the same thing to all the fish!

Great mix of fish. I am tang, anthias and fairy wrasse lover

Did someone remove the scalpals or was it injury related?
I think they were removed. He came to me like that and they never grew back in the time I had him :(

Mine at times can be a jerk but has calmed down drastically. The opposite with my dussomieri- now at 9" and at times, want to spear it !

That's sad. Good on you for rescuing him.
What other tangs do you have?? Right now I just have my vlamingi and the sailfin. Love me some tangs!
