At local petco they are asking for $80 fricking dollars for a tang that was put with tomato clowns and eaten alive. Should I pay ten dollars and put it in qt will its fins ever grow back

Probably need a pic to determine how bad the damage is. As difficult as it is at times I try to avoid rescuing fish from pet stores. They end up with a sale and no one that matters will even know or care that it's discounted. I look at it like buying a dog from a puppy mill. No matter how good a deal it still promotes the breeder and I can't rescue all of them.

Is it still in the tank with them?
