Thank you. I ended up fixing the problem that day and have since purchased a floating hydrometer that never needs calibration and is accurate to the 0.005 sg. It’s been working out great. Salinity steady at 1.0264:cool:
I always have just used a hydrometer for salinity/SG measurement; never needs calibration and is accurate enough.

Did you check it to know it is accurate?
