so I have a old refractometer and I haven't been able to recalibrate in a while due to the screw rusting. today I bought a Hanna salinity checker, salinity was sitting at around 1.032. All corals have been looking good except a few zoa's. my question is how fast do a lower it? I was thinking like 1.001-1.002 a day. just wondering what u guys think!

thanks, Logan :)

I am doubtful your salinity has been at 1.032 for any extended period of time and all the coral is good. I would just nake sure that salinity reading is correct.

In my experience you can lower salinity faster than raise it, but yes i would still only adjust by .002 a day by replacing saltwater with rodi.
