Salt brands

wasnt to sure where to post this but i i recently bought and setup my ro system after buying saltwater from my Lfs for a year, wasnt to happy with the results and was wondering what is the best salt mix to get. Mainly for a mixed reef leaning more towards sps dominate and wanted to know everyones experience with different types of sakt mixes with pictures if possible.

There's not a "best". I'd suggest to find one that you consider affordable, readily available and has trace elements in the range you want, and go from there. I settled on Fritz RPM Blue Box and haven't had any problems with it.

I dont think you can go wrong with regular instant ocean, or their reef crystals which is geared for reefs. Its a Very trusted brand

I'd recommend you just go with instant ocean. It's used by public aquariums, and also yours truly, without issue. It's affordable, consistent and readily available almost everywhere. I actually buy mine on sale from petco.

 

[Spare time]

Red sea's two salts mix extremely fast and are not as expensive as some other brands. Instant ocean is the cheapest and still works well.
