Been using Brightwells for over 18 momths on 75g mixed reef. It's been very consistant , never have to dose but I do T/O with Kalk. I recently bought about a years supply of it when a LFS had Customer appreciation day with big discounts, it was cheaper than IO, so I won't be changing anytime soon.

I just modified my last post. I said that most aquariums use IO. I meant to say that most public aquariums use IO.

Used IO/oceanic 50/50 when I first started, then switched to seachem reef. Now I use ESV and corals are doing much better. I hated how the other salts would always leave drity crud in my mixing container. ESV mixes clean and fast.

I am planning on using Red Sea Coral pro. I have read many reviews and tests of this salt that say it mixes well and tests at optimal levels without any dosing or additives

Kent salt. It's readily available in the stores around here. The new formulation is much better too. The price is great too. Typically I can get one in a group buy for about 40 dollars for a bucket.

Reef Crystals in reef systems and IO in fish systems. Have a buddy who is now using Tropic Marin Bio-Actif and he really likes it.
