So I may sound dumb but I have some questions about salt water tanks. I have several freshwater tanks that are doing really well and have been around for years.
I have found a lot of conflicting information so I thought asking here would be good.
Do I add stability (beneficial bacteria) to my saltwater tank? Or is there a special thing to add to salt water tanks?
I have a protein skimmer for my tank, but do I need another filter? Like a canister filter or a quiet flow filter?
Do I need a sump?
And if there are any other tips for a beginner to salt water tanks but for someone who knows a bunch about freshwater tanks that would be very helpful
Thanks!
