Just had a quick question for y'all. I'm building my saltwater mixing station right now and I would like to do water changes and refill my ATO container all using the same hose. Do y'all think salt will linger in the hose/PVC? Putting salt in my ATO container

Yes, but I doubt it would appreciably affect salinity as you’ll get a little extra salt when running the ATO and a little extra fresh water when running your water change. Probably negligible but you can estimate the effect by figuring out the volume of the shared hose in relation to your usual ATO or water change amount. If you’re worried about salt water back flowing into the ATO container, then add a check valve and try to position everything to avoid a siphon. If you’re using a peristaltic pump then a siphon probably isn’t an issue.
