Hello, I’m making my first batch of saltwater for 100g aquarium. The RODI water I placed in Brute 44g can is crystal clear. I used the Reef pro mix with pumps in place to reach a specific gravity of 1.024.
The saltwater is not as clear as the RODI water that initially made. Is this to be expected? I have kept mixing it for 24 hours.

It should be clear within 24 hours. When I mix mine, it’s clear within a few minutes. I wouldn’t worry about it, unless it’s cloudy it should clear up. Also, why are you mixing to 1.024? If you’re going to keep corals, you should aim for 35ppm or 1.026.
