I see these fancy mixing stations posted on here but is it necessary? I have a sump pump that i am using for pumping out. I use two brute trash cans 32gal one for ro and one for salt. Ive been swapping the pumps (cleaning out the salt beforehand) Should i get two pumps?

I assume this isn’t a bad idea or should i make a mixing station. This has been working for me for a few weeks and seem like it works.

Fancy mixing stations are not needed at all, I have one as I like to have as much automated as possible and my ato and awc is done from there. As long as it works for you I see bo reason to change.

I have 3 brutes 44 gallons on wheels. One fresh , one salt and 1 dirty water from water changes. Works good with one pump in saltwater mixing and the other in old water so I can pump out and down the drain. Nothing in the fresh water one. Nothing fancy

I definitely like the “mixing stations” but really want to be able to move my stuff around and not spend more money on something that is not necessary.

I think i will get a second pump.
