FOWLR .. sorry, but the nicest saltwater fish pale in comparison to fw options. The meanest sw fish pale in comparison to fw.

SW fish have nothing on fw in general.

As the self appointed leader of the FOWLR resurgence movement I take umbrage with this statement. Umbrage! FOWLR options livestockwise include some of the most spectacular fishes imaginable. I don't know freshwater that well, but I have always appreciated Any well done biotope. Fresh or salt. Discus are awesome! But two simple words settle this issue permanently: Clown Trigger. A magnificent Dr Seussian spectacle of a fish. As for which fish are meanest: Meh. Who cares. You win. But to say FOWLR fish pale in comparison to FW fish? How dare you? I bid you good day sir. When I notice that my yellow clown goby has gotten through my filter intake and now I've got to fish (no pun intended) him out - this only happens when I'm in a rush to go somewhere!

I hate it when a snail crawls out of the refugium onto the floor, then the dog eats it and pukes and poops all night long .
Been there; also hate that crunch sound when dog beats you to your favorite fish which has jumped out and is flopping all over the floor.

Oh that too, recently lost a Blue Dot Jawfish that went exploring during a water change because the dog was quicker than me.

Hey, I like where you're coming from! Nothing wrong with a strong stance. And I'll agree, the only FOWLR fish that hold my attention are Triggers. Spectacular fish, intelligent, and very colorful.

I feel comfortable saying any aspect of SW fish is matched by FW fish. I'll show you a few FW fish to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.
