3 please then?

Also, good looking Mandarin there. One of my favorite fish in my tank is the mandarin.
Thanks! My daughter begged me when she saw the fish in the pet store. And... twist my arm... heh... don't need to ask me twice to get another fish...

I know right? just went through all the tanks with the wife, saying what do we do with this one... most of them were "I's like it to be a little more complete from where it is. If you can think of something to put into it." Yeah, no way I can think of proper stocking for another 4 tanks...

Haha! She's giving you a hard time! My wife doesn't comment; I don't think she want to encourage me.

I just have some that don't have just kinda hung out for the last year. 10g neocaradina shrimp tank. Was a breeding factory, but now just kinda hangs out tucked away in the corner getting fed maybe once a week. It looks nice and deserves a fish and to be in view. There are others too. Just been busy with the reef.

Another big 10-20gallons water change today.... Well, 3-4 small water changes really... And, I cleaned the fuge... removed about 1/2 the cheato (About a vollyball - Wilson!) and put into the QT tank that had the mandarin in since I already had a light hooked up. I'll put for sale on Offer up since its pretty clean.

I think that Mg reading is bogus... one extra drip by accident in the vial...

Used (new in box) AutoAqua AWC touch all setup. I got the relay that allows me to hookup my Mag3 pump so I can get the old water up and over, through about 30' of 3/8" tube in the ceiling over to my sump/fish room. I can either put the water in a QT tank, bucket w/bubbler or directly into the sump. I have it set todo about 1.75 gallons at a time.
It draws new saltwater from a Brute on wheels next to the tank. Its ATO water comes from a 5 gallon bucket I have on the other side of the tank.
I have 1/4" RODI tubing already ran to the tank and just ordered 3 optical water level sensors and a 1/4" N/C 12V solenoid. I plan to setup auto ATO reservoir filling (I need to make my Acrylic ATOR first.) Am also itching to DIY a kalk stirrer too... later.

Ordered more GFO. Cant believe how yellow my water is. Will change out my carbon soon too. I need to get a reactor or two I suppose. run carbon and GFO.

I just realized I am dosing 80ml Kalk every hour and its still not enough to keep up. I added 10ml soda ash last night and 40ml Magnesium... Nothing besides 5ml soda ash tonight. Will see where we are tomorrow.

Got my silicone ice cube trays from Amazon and the frozen seafood medley from whole foods so I plan to make some DIY frozen food for the fishies... Wish I saw/got the spirulina powder from BRS on my latest order...

WWC corals all seem fine. PE still decent. Some of my existing SPS has some PE too. Have taken my Noops intensity down significantly when the T5s switch on because I think it was just too much. But I think it (my recent SPS issues) is also my NO4/PO4 and maybe even my flow changes from when tied my MP40s into the apex.
Keeping the Cardinals fed. they try to eat frozen... Mysis too big still.

**edit** forgot a pic.

Using the hobby to offset the cost of the hobby.... Love it!

Only once has Petco sold me the fish in the bag and it was because they specifically ordered them for me. A trio of German Blue Rams.

That is a depressingly small bag to ship a fish in. I usually like ora corals but this caught my attention.

I agree that the bag is small but look at the water level. Is it as low as I think it is?

I think the bag is full of water just has a air pocket behind the label, no?

It looks like there is a smaller bag inside the taller bag. Looks full yes.
Still only twice the length of the fish and not even a fish width. I don't want to derail the thread. I am just disappointed seeing this bag.
