I'll have to look on a computer. It's hard to see details on my cracked phone screen. You recycle any of the scrap?
don't know how. I let my kids glue it together as crafting material.
I've been printing those frag stands non-stop to drop a bunch of packs off at the reefing stores in the area. those have some support the kids like to use as beads.

machines are expensive from my research. for example this. there may be a way to build one yourself. also there are some outfits that will let you ship it to them then give you 50% off for purchases.

This looks pretty ghetto but it might work, and cost under $1k.

I watched a few YouTubes on the subject and decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Yes I hate the waste but you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet. $1k to save pennies, then the 2nd hand filament print like dirt.

I am saving the off prints and waste to mail out. I may buy recycled but not sure. It's crazy how much it costs to recycle. It'll hopefully reduce the need for new. Then again, not having a printer also reduces the need for more plastic.

I justify the waste plastic from printing because it saves me from buying and eventually throwing out all the packaged consumer items that need to be transported globally.

Plus it's reduce, recycle, reuse. Your kids use them for crafts so it reuse.

It is less waste than packaging, but the spool is shipped from China right? I may end up throwing away much of the waste too while wishing for a better option.

And my first thought when the frag rack pulled up was, a raft would fix this.
You're using glass bed? omg try AquaNet (youtube it). print at 50 and never lift unless you're doing crazy stuff.
is it plain glass or dotted?

And only aqua net works? Walmart is by Petco and home Depot
I've tried Rave but its not the same. Sometimes based on Humidity I'll top AquaNet with a light dusting of the Rave to help the part pop off when cool.
