What does buying a new phone have to do with it?
This thread appears to be questions on if a samsung 24 is capable of taking good photos under whites and blues. If you already own it, grab the coral filters.

Pro mode and use manual white balance. Depending on lighting an orange or yellow filter may be needed along with manual white balance. I no longer use an S24 but thats what worked for me. I was a year with the phone before I found out about pro mode. Manual WB was a game changer for me.

Thank you. I'll give that a shot.

So far this is what I've been able to take with some of the manual adjustments without going pro Mode.

I have an S24 and just use an Orphek filter (as I did with my previous phone, S21). Overall the results are pretty good, but of course not all colors are faithfully reproduced. I will definitely give the pro mode a try for a bit to if I can improve.

Below are the last two pics I took - one from each of my two tanks - using the filter and no manual adjustment to camera settings.

Do you mind sharing comparisons?

If I follow through, I can absolutely share some comparisons here in the thread. I guess best would be for me to take a pic with the filter and then try to get the same pic after with manual settings. If I don't post, it means I opted for water change instead of photo time.

I've been able to take some decent shots going into the pro feature and using extra wide with white balance up as far as it goes.

I uses these:

They work pretty well with the unadjusted phone camera and I am sure you could get them better if you know what you are doing (I'm not a pro photographer (yet) but here are some shots I took):

Okay, so I watched a 30-minute video on YouTube about S24 pro mode and then attempted to take some pics without using the filter. All I ended up changing was the white balance (to ~8000K from auto WB of 4200K).

The pics aren't even really worth sharing. I guess from my experience, and using the lighting spectrum I use on my tanks (Red Sea LED90 on display, AI HD 32 on my frag), I get the best results from automatic mode while using a filter (Orphek). I think someone more experienced and knowledgeable than me could benefit from using pro/manual mode, but it may require some practice, and possibly a temporary change in the light spectrum.

Thank you. I tried looking it up on YouTube and could not find proper examples. I will do what I can and submit my results, and we can compare

It works! Focus is hard to manage, but I like the more natural color
