Hi all. Getting ready to get my new Reefer 425 xl G2 wet!
Just wondering about “live” sand sitting in the back of a UPS truck or warehouse in this heat. I’m in Florida. I recall a BRS video about caution with live bacteria shipping during heat spells.
Hate to pay for 100 pounds of dead stinky sand.
Your thoughts?

I've used live sand that was both very cold and very hot without issues. I think temperature fluctuations with transportation and storage are going to happen to some extent.

I'd put a call into CaribSea (etc.) if you have any concerns - they can probably alleviate or clear the up for you.

@ShellSea blaxsun is correct. I wouldn't worry about it and if you are, just toss a 4oz bottle of Fritz TurboStart 900 in there. TBH, the AragAlive sand is okay. I have this and it was in my garage for a month or more in 100F temps, hence the TurboStart 900.
