I was just wondering if this sand from CaribSea will absorb copper if I put it in my QT?

Yes. Anything carbonate based can bind the copper ion and take it out of solution. Go bare and PVC lengths/joins only for shelter. Although I've also used cheap fake plastic plants for shelter and throw them out every few weeks.

What would be a good sand? I've got 3 wrasses and a goby going into my QT tomorrow

They'll be fine without while you treat with copper, just provide hiding places. Stressed fish aren't great, but it's only temporary, and better than diseased fish.

Any silica based sand can work - the ones marketed for freshwater often work.
What kind of wrasses and goby? Not all would need sand, but anything that burrows will stress without it.

Mcpskers, line spot, melanurus, and a diamond goby

Leave sand and rock out during treatment as both tend to be absorbent
You can place a deep bow. in the tank for the wrasse
