sand for Quarantine tank

20 liter fish tank with heater and one small - mid live rock and small filter with heathy bio in it.
actually have a 55gal with heater in it no live rock due to it absorbing copper. Have filter with with media that has been in my sump mainly only looking for the type of sand everyone uses in QT that does not absorb alot of copper. Thanks thou

Use play sand. I put some in a corner or put it in a dish.
 
If you’re on about live sand, the best to go for would be this sort of sand. I use Carib Sea. This works perfectly for my Halichoeres and Leopard Wrasses in my DTs.

What wrasses are you wanting to QT? Not all of them use the sand in the way Halichoeres and Macropharyngodon do.

planning on yellow wrasse (Halichoeres chrysus) on Tuesday so know it needs the sand.
