Ok so I did a thing. My local LFS had a bubble tip in horrible conditions. I don’t believe it would have lasted very long. It did not look good. I figured it might have a better chance in my tank, so I brought it home. It floated around the tank for awhile then settled in the far back corner and has been there pouting like a toddler for 2 days. It’s a terrible location. It has been opening up regularly and its tips are mostly inflated so I think it might be okay. This morning it had moved to the very top of my tank just below the water line. Is that an anemone thing?

Well I couldn’t get a pic of the mouth because of its position, but it has wedged itself between the back corner and my Tunze glass magnet cleaner. Just below the water line. It doesn’t seem unhappy. We call it Cupcake. :p
