How is the Ghostbuster doing?

Not very sexy. It's pretty maroon and lost it's golden base. Polyp extension is pretty poor. I've been moving it around trying to find a decent spot for it so maybe it just needs to get settled in one spot. It is encrusting over the side of the plug though. How's yours?

Mine has gotten a golden body with maroon tips, and gold polyps.
It hasn't encrusted much like most of my acros, but has a been shooting out a lot of nubs.

I'll snap some macros of mine tonight. On the other hand, the Vivid's rainbow I got from you is growing nicely and is colored up really nice.

Got any updated photos of the Ghostbusters? I just picked one up, and I haven't been able to find many photos of what it's suppposed to look like.

Sadly, it is nothing to look at. It has encrusted over the plug but lost it's orange/yellow. The polyps are yellow, but then body is just maroon/purple. Quite ugly. It has to be the coral and not something in my system because all of my corals are colored up nicely. I made a bet on this one and lost.

How come your reef tech starburst is purple mine is all orange

Mine pretty much looks orange too, but with this macro shot, you see the variations in color and it almost looks like a grafted cap. You can barely see those variations with the naked eye.

Got aefw. Tried to cut off all acros and qt, but I messed up the qt and all acros are dead. I used the opportunity to rescape and also got new lighting. My tank had been fallow of acros for about a month. In another month, I'll begin collecting acros again. I know a lot more now than I did on my fist go around and I'm excited about the reboot.

Also, if you look closely at the shot of the Palmer's Blue Millie a few posts above, you can see aefw eggs. They are on the left side of the pic on the little bit of live rock that is showing. RIP Palmer's Blue!

I haven't had much to update over the last few months since I lost all of my acros. I let my tank go acro-free for a few months and kicked off my acro restocking mission with a trip to Battlecorals, followed by a trip to a local reefer's (@coralreeftank) house where I bought a bunch of frags, and then another trip to Battlecorals. I'm really liking my scape now because I get better flow and have tons of area fro corals. Now it's time to let everything grow out. Here's a few pics I took tonight:
