SBReef 32" Pro Timer light mod for apex

Has anyone tried this? I followed FishOHex and Mike's videos and was successful in hacking the Mars Aqua lights but the SBR light will not get out of full spectrum. I assume that it could be because only has one power cord so you can't run separate power to both white and blue channels. I plug it into the blue power on the eb8 and it comes on but in full spectrum. The programming profiles calls for 90% blue an 10% white. I'm getting more white than blue.
