Received more goodies.

One Icecap 4K gyre is on backorder so I will have to wait on that one.

I did manage to hook up the Hydros Wave Engine to my current tank to see how easy it was and to test if it all worked, and it is just a breeze. Awesome!

I also did not realize that the Hydros Power Strip needed the Hydros Control 2 or 4 to function so I will be placing an order on the Control 2, since that is all I really need out of functionality, and then I can make things turn on and off based on feeding, dosing for corals etc!

Nice!!
You’ve got the advantage of being able to build it on a bench... I’m upgrading from an existing tank so I’ll have to build mine in place under water!

What kind of rock is that?

Caribsea Life Rock, I left some intact, and smacked up a bunch and starting building.

Not in the original plan, but I also went and bought a Hydros Control 2 as controller.
It's setup and running, was a breeze setting it up. Testing the whole ordeal on my 40B to setup feed modes and fancy flow patterns and schedules.
Mostly wanted some alarm functionality with leak sensors and when the temperature went out of range, and the controller can tell you when something is dying, with current monitoring so thats really nice.

The final setup concludes:
Reefbreeders Photon v2+ 50
Jebao DCP10000 with apex link to be controlled through the Hydros WaveEngine with the 10v
Icecap 4K Gyre
Maxspect XF350 Gyre
Hydros WaveEngine
Hydros Control 2
Fiji Cube Advanced Sump 36
Aquamaxx GFO Reactor
Aquamaxx FC 280 Skimmer

The last update I have gotten is that my tank is being shipped to me next week, so counting down two weeks or so and it should be in my garage!

Skimmer I have is currently an Aquamaxx Cones Q1, I have to upgrade this for the upgrade.
I’m looking to upgrade to the Q3 model since I like the Aquamaxx Skimmer!
A week ago was the time to do it (if you haven't already) as they were 15%-20% off for Black Friday. I picked one up for around $275 from Aquacave.

Just be prepared for a long wait. Their website will say in stock but they definitely are not in stock

Good to know. Been emailing with Steve on some potential custom options, so I’ll be sure to ask for turn around time.

Do you know for your euro-bracing, are all pieces of the bracing flush with each other, or does the sides sit lower than the other (or vice versa).

this is what I have seen

on YouTube.

Seems like it sits a little lower than the edge and is flush with the other pieces. This is also helpful for me, since I bought a rimless 6ft diy net kit from BRS and it seems like it would fit perfectly on this tank without messing around. It can just sit on the bracing and I dont even have to worry about trimming it.
