So did you pay the $660? How did you pay the first payment for the actual purchase?

Just curious is all... My parents got hit with a pretty intricate scam attempt a few months ago. Hacked computer, moved money around, demanded cash in person as ransom for other money. It was wild. Luckily they were smart enough not to pull or transfer cash and the bank was able to shut everything down. But needless to say... I despise scammers. I'll keep my thoughts to myself on the what I believe punishment should be for them, as this is a family friendly site.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Hopefully you can find your fish elsewhere

That’s crazy.
Ridiculous
Good you called them out.
They claim 30 years in business.
Doing that they might last 30 days.

Best of luck getting your $$ back....hopefully your CC company covers you.

Glad they didn't get the full $660. Hopefully PayPal can get you squared away for the rest... Scumbags

I am not sure how to respond.

I honestly can’t fathom how people miss so many red flags.

Price too good to be true, availability when there is otherwise none, lack of verifiable reputation, quirky business name, questionable business location, personal request for funds via a non insurable or protected payment method, etc.

If this was paypal friends and family, you are not getting your money back. Hard lesson learned but maybe will save somebody else some grief.

None of those facts sent up red flags?

Sorry about this, but now you know. A reputable business won’t make you pay with non recoverable funds, it isn’t that much more money.

No how do I report here? besides this thread
They are not a real vendor to report. You got taken with no recourse. The best you can do is hope other people see this thread and (not trying to be mean) recognize the half dozen red flags that you ignored — even if they don’t see this thread.
