Hi everyone
I was at one of the big box stores and saw these new push fittings.
They are clear, schedule 40s for irrigation use.
It has metal: looks like steel barbs to hold the pipes in and rubber seal. See the pictures. Doesn't seem like the metal comes in touch with water.
I'm wondering if I could use these for the over flow drain lines. Could be very helpful.

Any one with experience or opinion?

Oh those are just too cool. Can you get the pipe back out without scratching it all up?

I haven't tried them.
I wouldn't think it would be easy to pull it out without scratching it
I was thinking maybe that white part unscrewed similar to a union to allow the pipe to be removed with the metal part still attached. If it did those would be really awesome! I'm from Canada and we simply don't have cool stuff like this up here. So it seems at least.

I don't think the white part unscrews.
If you want I can ship it to at cost[emoji56]

Too kind, too kind! Right now I don't have a need just yet but I'm tagging along hoping someone will jump in and share their experience with these.

The fittings are good for non pressure settings. They are reusable. There is a tool to disconnect them.

Non pressure, well it'll work for the overflow drain line then.
Mmmm, I'll have to look [emoji102] for the tool to disconnect it then
Thanks for the insight. Do you use them? Or do you know anyone who uses it?
