That one is easy, I wouldn't run an sps dominant tank with out a calcium reactor.

I have been dosing for years but my ALK always is changing, up and down, up and down. I think it's time to look into a reactor..

My reefbrites run 14 hours
2 bulbs 10 hours
And all 8 bulbs for 7 hours.

I used to do 8, but I recently cut it back to 7 to see if I noticed any difference. Figured it will save me some electricity. I might even try 6 hours if everything still looks good.

Are you still dosing nitrates and phols extra or did you stop them?

What is an update on where you keep your alk and calc? Still between 7-8, is it usually closer to 7 or 8?

New toy for my fuge. 90w Kessil H350

Got it for $80 on eBay.

If any of you watched BRS' video on which light worked best at growing chaeto, this one was the clear winner. But the main reason I am getting it is for PH. In BRS' test, the tank with the kessil had a super high PH. I'm gunna see if this makes any impact on raising the ph in my tank.
