Scoly bailing out?

Hi reefers, got my first scoly from tank break down today. I have no experience with them before, but it doesn’t look good to me. Is it bailing out or it just shrinks?
I placed it in the sand bed with low flow

I don't know if scolies can bail, but its dying. My guess is getting stung by the plate or the bubble coral, or maybe toxin from the leather....

I don't know if scolies can bail, but its dying. My guess is getting stung by the plate or the bubble coral, or maybe toxin from the leather....
I don’t think so. I just got it today, and placed it there only for couple hours. It’s been like this since I got it. Not sure what happened to it before.

I’ll move it away from plate and other corals just for safety.

oh if you got it today then just let it heal, they are pretty hardy, who knows what happened to it before, but if the plate is happy in that spot then the scoly should be too. Good luck, it looks like it will look amazing when its healed. At my LFS they call it UFO scoly

Thank you! I’ll let it do its job, and see how it goes for the next few days
