Hi guys, i have a quick question about my scoly I purchase on Wednesday the 25th. Since i bought it at my lfs, it looks great, just like the pictures on google. I put it into my tank then head to my parents house for thanksgiving. I came back today and noticed the mouth is somewhat open, and i can see the pointy skeleton through its skin (if that makes sense). I was wondering if this is a normal behavior for a scoly when the light is ramping down. The picture i took is an hour before the light goes off so the light runs about 20%. (2 AI prime lights on the readsea 170 tank).
All my other corals are doing fine, including my sps and the blasto next to it is thriving.
This is my first time keeping scolys so please bare with me.
Parameters:
Salinity: 1.025
Ca:460
Mg:1440
Kh: 9
Nitrate: ~10 (i use the strips for this one)
Temp: constant 78 F
Thank you!
