Hello I have a Scopas tang about an inch he won’t eat food but he does graze on rocks and he might pick on the clip once in a day I got him 4 days ago he won’t touch mysis or brine how will I get him to start eating

Id recommend going to your Local fish store and asking for help. You could also ask vetteguy just PM him or tag him.

try putting some garlic extract on some nori for the clip. That worked for my naso tang. Now he eats a whole piece by himself every day. I also put a drop in with the frozen mysis. The garlic I use is made by Brightwell Aquatics, it is called Garlic Power

Give him time… if he’s got algae to graze on he will be ok for awhile.. my blue eye Kole wouldn’t touch food for about a month and just picked the algae off my back glass.. I think he learned from the rest of tang gang who get super excited when I’m near the tank it’s feeding time and he’s a pig now.

How long have you had him?
Was he eating before?
If you've had him a short time was he quarantined or medicated?
How many fish are in the tank and what size tank? Is he being bullied?
Do you have more tangs in the system?
