I guess I need to get my head back into this build thread and get it up to date…

funny how a week turned into a month and a half

Sooo…here we go… February 14, get a call, tank assembly is finished . Made the final payment that day, then just had to wait for it to be cleaned up, crated and shipped… couple of weeks later and it’s on a truck and headed my way…was originally supposed to pick it up from the shipping terminal, but CDA ended up getting a shipping quote that allowed for curbside delivery at no additional cost . Tank shipped out around March 1st…I was thinking a week and it would be here…week goes by, no tank, ok, no biggie, another week goes goes by…no tank, phone call time…talked to Zoya at CDA, she says she’s going to make a couple of calls and will call me back…15 minutes later she calls, tank is at shipping terminal in Pensacola, gave me the number and told me to call first thing in the morning to arrange delivery, this was on March 16…I was like yoda on crack at that point…

March 17…0700…I’m calling the shipping company…tank is on a truck and out for delivery… in talking with the dispatcher, decide it’s best to have it brought to the job site I was at instead of my home, had access to forklift on site and can move from one truck to the other, plus more room for a 53’ truck to maneuver on the site…
1500 that afternoon… tank arrives, opened up the crate and did a quick check for damage…all good…loaded in my truck and headed home

And unloaded in the parking lot at home…

I unloaded it all by myself, probably not the best idea I’ve ever had…took me a couple of days to relocate my fuzzy buddies …

had to get creative in order to get it around to the front and in the house…

uncrated it to reduce weight and make it easier to go up and in through the front door…
