Hello. We have a sea hare that somehow prolapsed or ejected his mouth and has been unable to heal on his own. I think he ate something that was too large for his system and while trying to eject that he ejected his insides. He’s been this way for about a week and has been unable to eat. He was very healthy when it happened (and I believe he is still healthy besides this injury) and continues to show no sign of splitting in the rear (a telltale sign that a sea hare is not doing well) or that he wants to eject his inner shell. We’ve had him in a quarantine box for the past week. We’d like to find a way to help him but we understand that it’s a long shot. Have any of you dealt with this? Do you have any recommendations on how we can fix him?
Thanks.
Thanks.
