Sea Hares

Is it okay to have 2 sea hares in a 200 gallon? I dont know much about how fast they eat algae so I wanted to know so I dont starve them if they consume the algae too quickly.

How much alage do u have u should be good only problem with them is they get sucked into vortex happened to ke 2 times

They eat FAST. Mine cleaned my tank up in a week. Now I just feed him algae sheets.

I had two and they cleaned up my 250 fast...and I gave them away so they didn't starve ..I would say one is good

1 is more than enough for 350+ gallons.

They don't stop eating, if you have 2, you may need to monitor them for the algae issues
because like everyone says, they eat fast.

i love mine, 110 tank cleaned algae in a week, now i will have to him. Very clean rock in my tank now !! no algae issues here!! :bigsmile: looks like shrek needs some company??
