I've never heard or read of anything like that but I suppose it's possible. If there is my inhabitants have been fine for years without any adjustments.
There's definitely seasonal variation in wild populations (caused by migration; temperature, light, nutrient, and weather differences shifting phytoplankton and zooplankton populations and nutritional profiles; etc.), but there doesn't seem to be a need for us to emulate those changes in aquariums at this stage, and what those changes mean is different for each species - so emulating that at a species level could be incredibly difficult.
