So I currently have all 8 outlets of my eb8 full. Thought about combining outlets with a y adapter or power strip, but with how I have my apex running, it wouldn't be able to be done. I'm looking to add a third powerhead to add more flow to my tank. I'd want this powerhead to oscellate vs just a constant "on". I don't NEED the extra flow just yet, but I'm getting into more sps corals and would like the extra flow.
I have a second eb8 just laying around and am thinking about hooking it up, but it almost seems like a waste to hook it up for one power head. I don't see myself adding any equipment in the near future as I don't know what else I would even add.
Is it worth hooking up a second eb8? What are some suggestions to add for the future? Thoughts?

**Current outlets are: Blue channel LED, white channel LED, (2) powerheads, return pump, skimmer, heater, ato pump

If you already have the eb8 why not hook it up? It takes 5 min. I would even out the power draw so you don't have all 8 running on the one.

You'll need a second eb8 eventually. As your tank grows in you'll be thinking of dosing pumps. And really you should run more than one heater in case of malfunction you'll still have one working properly. Never enough outlets. And it's as easy as plugging it into the other one via aqua bus cable.
