Seeding my system with copepods and arthropods

Have a delivery for copepods and arthropods to seed my tank and refugium. My sump is a lifereef LF1-300 Berlin sump which has 3 foam filter one of each chamber. My question is it smart to remove these foam filter for about a day to allow these copepods and arthropods to flow through the entire system and give them a chance to settle in my entire system. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Are you planning to pour some in the tank and some in the sump? I've not removed by bubble trap filter before but pods still find their way all around the tank and sump.

I would remove the foam filters and not put them back.

Thanks for the reply. I was contemplating in doing that hopefully they will consume waste and keep my nutrients in control. I'm having a consistent 16 to 20 nitrates and 0.6 to 1.0 phosphates. Was dealing with a bit of dinos just vacuumed yo sandbed through a 5 micron pleated filter in a canister back to the sump yesterday getting ready for pods and arthropods to help me with it. I will monitor my nutrients with filters off and see what happens.

Yes my delivery is around 4 pm . Planning to put them in latter tonight when lights are off in main tank and my refigium that has gravel,rock rubble and red gracilaria algea.
