Hi can anyone tell me what is this growing on the tips of my birdsnest and/Or how to get rid of it

It looks like a hair like algea

It is not happening to my thin branched birds nest

It could be algae. Have you tried to blow it off with something like a turkey baster? Or picked it off by your fingers?

I thought it looked pale at the base, it does not come off with a turkey baster
