Going to set this light up tomorrow night and will be working the next day.. my question is I have a fluval evo 13.5 tank and I wanted to know what i should put the settings to so that my corals don’t melt when I’m not around to do anything about it.

Here is a link to BRS video on the prime hd. I would use acclimation mode. You won’t need to use the “AB+ settings” in the video most likely. I have an ai prime on my biocube 14.

I have the same setup. Fluval Evo 13.5 with AI Prime HD. I have been using the “David Saxby” schedule and so far all my corals are looking great. My Duncan is branching out , my scrambled eggs zoas are multiplying, my hammer corals are always fully opened etc.

I have the light about 8” above the water line. If you would like to try it , send me your email address and I can send you the file. All you have to do is log in to your prime via the computer and upload the file

There is also an acclimation setting on the primes that allow you to setup a start day and end day of acclimation.

At 24 inches below, the orbit marine provides 3 par and the orbit marine pro provides 40 par (according to their website). AI claims 100 par at 24 inches. I believe these are both measured over open air. Either way, I'd suggest using the acclimation option under the "effects" setting. I'm pretty conservative when acclimating to new lighting and would do 50% for 4-6 weeks.

Started with the "David Saxby" setting and modified the whites, greens and reds. Essentially turned them down - I like a little more blue color pop at night. Corals are happy and chunky!

This is over a 40g cube with the AI metal bracket at max height. Will be adding T5 hybrids in a few months.

I have a prime HD on my 20gal fusion and I only run my whites at about 25 max. You could always adjust your light time to be on when your home so you can keep an eye on it.
I would start
UV 35
V 55
RB 55
B 55
G 6
DR 3
CW 15
In a about 3 weeks time I don't see any reason for you to not be at
UV 60
V 100
RB 100
B 100
G 10
DR 6
CW 25
You my also need to adjust this as needed for your light height.
