I've dropped my temp to 78 from 79. I'm considering dropping it to 77

I was reliving my time in Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia. 101 days I looked for a viper. The last day in the field patrolling part of the base i found this guy about 0600-700 sidewinding across the dessert.

A saw scaled viper. I played with it for a while with a 5ft pole. I even managed to get it to strike at me a few times.

Fast forward 20 years I just learned this is the deadliest snake in the region. I was playing with death. I would do it again if I had the chance.

Ya @Crabby48 and I where talking. I think he mentioned that you where running 76. Part of the reason I lowered the temp

A lot of lfs and big name fish and coral sellers stay down at 75 76 some even colder.

My controller is a cheap one, tank sits around 78.7f / 25.5c, set points are on and off 25 and 26c.

With the exception of one month this winter, I did not run a heater all year round and I stayed around 75-76 with no issues.
