Hows the fish

The hippo tang is doing great! The urchin started clouding the water unfortunately before it ever got to finish acclimation. There was a white substance I initially thought was poop but it just kept coming. It appeared to still be alive after the acclimation but it never moved after I placed it in the display. It had its tube feet out though. Sunday morning it still hadn’t moved and I no longer saw its tube feet. It lost most of its spines by evening. I told him about it and he’s ordering me a new one even though I told him I wasn’t worried about the money or anything.

I might name the hippo tang Dory. I’m undecided on that right now. Ironically I’ve never felt like I had to name any of my clownfish after Nemo. Go figure. At any rate she’s eating like a pig! She started eating within a couple of hours of being placed in the tank. It’ll be fun to see how quickly she grows!

My red corris wrasse was Mia for 3 days. Friday my rock boring urchin knocked some of the scape over. I thought may have landed on the wrasse. Saturday I went looking for it nope nothing. Monday I come home its out swimming around like nothing happened.
