Hello all my name is Stefan . I met my wife back in September 2002. As an Airman First Class I was broke most of the time. Some of our most memorable dates were to local fish stores in Belleville IL.

Fast forward to October 2014 Heather gave me my Christmas present 75g tank. The instructions were to have fish in by Christmas. I told her I would change my 55g freshwater to the salt and the 75 would be my new freshwater. She told me nope the 75 is going to be your salt water tank and you need to have fish in by Christmas.

I really like the way you show off the filtration & sump

Looks fantastic, awesome job! There is for sure a good feeling completing a project yourself and the memories of working with your son will outlast that floor.
My son HATED working on floors. Only thing he liked when I would bring him to work was the hot chocolate and donuts I'd get him on the way to the job LOL

Hey thanks for stopping by the dream. Sorry ran out of snacks and drinks.

Thanks for noticing. I never really thought of that aspect. I was trying to make for easy maintenance. Heather absolutely hated filter cleaning day. She had to help and squeeze into a tight area to help remove the canister.

I can't hardly move thus morning
I hear ya, been there...do that lol
That work takes a toll. My father is 81 and still works with us, has had both knees replaced and well me, I just got my first set of hearing aids at 53 (all the years of loud power tools caught up to me).
