Yeah that storm was intense in Decatur. About 5 hours after the storm ended a tree fell and knocked out power for 4 hours 15 minutes. At least the water temperature only fell 5 degrees.

Both Springfield and Decatur are in an enhanced risk of severe storms this afternoon and evening. Stay safe!

I just looked at our aviation weather and this system is turning and coming back around 5pm today lasting up to 4 hours

About 40 min before the storm hit today. Winds prob 70mph. This is the same storm that dropped a tornado in st louis
