Well I'm sure that isnt what Bruce would say. I think youll have a hard time getting him to be vegan as well.

Couple years ago I brought some gravel I had sitting on my deck inside in the winter. It had a jumping spider in the bag must have made a den for the winter in the bag. When the bag warmed up he came out. I am not a huge spider fan but I felt bad just tossing him back out in the cold, so I made a little terrarium for him and was feeding him pin head crickets all through the winter. We became pretty good friends. When spring came and nightly temps were not going below 40 and I saw some other spiders out and about in the yard I let him go. I was actually kind of sad and honestly he was like "naw I think I'd rather stay with you". Eventually he jumped off my hand on to the tree I was trying to get him to go to. Just about a week or two ago there is a little female that I found in my fish room she hangs out near my computer and comes out to watch me I have not tried catching her yet and there are a few nats flying around the fish room (probably from all the plants sticking out of my fresh water tanks) so I think she has food. Speaking of the little female Bruce may be female as well. I am not that versed in the species but I dont see the colorful pedipalps on Bruce that is typical of males but the body color does look male kind of but the brown instead of white could be female as well depending on species. How did you come across Bruce?

Largely depends on where one lives, kind of, as I have eaten insects. Some by choice and some not.

I think I watched that or something like it and if it ends the same way following their life cycle than yes it could be a tear jerker.

Maybe a female or male. They usually get those full colors on pediplaps as a fully mature male.

This weekend we seen it in the living room and I caught it. Much to cold to put it back out side the only option was to let it roam and starve or catch and care for it. The later sounded better.

Its food is flightless fruit flies and baby crickets. We keep the crickets on hand for the Asian forrest scorpion.

I have a good imagination, so yes. Though it probably wouldnt be as cute as I think. I mean could you imagine taking it for a walk with its little harness on? How cute! Until it eats your neighbors cat.
