Who is a 1-in male thread measured
No the female thread you measured there comes in at one and a quarter. The 1-in male side I measured for you comes in at one and a quarter. Mine is a 1-in male fitting, That means yours is a 1 inch female.Would you say mines a 1 1/2

Says the guy who's got a 500 in storage......time to lose the couch in living room...
If you love the canopy, Mike @sp1187 already has a great plan he drew up in CAD. There would only be eight cuts with two different measurements to shorten the stand and use your canopy if I remember correctly. If you said pretty please I'm sure he'd share. The stand and tank is more than 61 inches. With canopy 83
Don't have one now
The stand is good to go. I really like the height as a taller guy I like the room. The canopy is the problem. At 5ft height I now know how @TriggerFinger feels. I'll need a ladder to work in this tank.If you love the canopy, Mike @sp1187 already has a great plan he drew up in CAD. Just got to think about your sump height and not undercut the stand height you need.
Wife and kids would disagree. WWIII no thanks.time to lose the couch in living room...
Returns, I went with 1" slip outside of the tank in order to use street 90's for a lower profile to the wall and 1" threaded inside the tank that immediately splits to two 1/2" loclines.Suggestions on type of 1" bulkheads. This is all very new.
