Shadow Overflow Spacers?

Hi,
I bought a spacer kit for my shadow overflow, but unsure how to install it? It comes with a hard spacer and then another washer? Sorry I feel dumb, but where do they go?

Assume on the outside of the tank on the washer that comes with it then the hard spacer and another washer?

Correct. Glass, gasket, hard spacer, gasket, overflow rear box.
