Hello R2R community!
I’m currently planning on starting my new tank
120(L)x45(W)x30(H)cm // 2x1.5x1ft (~40gallons)
And I’ve been thinking of the type of wavemaker to use in this type of tank.
I was thinking of having 1 gyre wavemaker at the end (I am planning to have 3 viewing angles , as the aquarium is going to be sort of a “divider” between two room spaces) but I’m not sure if it’s sufficient enough in creating flow.
Or should I just use 2 of the conventional wavemakers, placed opposite sides of the tank (which will ruin the aesthetic, running a cable through one side of the tank as it’s a divider).
So, I’d like to know if it’s possible to just use one gyre wavemaker, heck even if it’s possible to use just one normal wavemaker, and it’s appropriate sizing.
Thanks in advance,
Uje.
