Welcome Edwin!
I’ve drilled that exact tank in the past with an inout over flow. I don’t recommend it. The tank is 7 inches tall, and the water level was at about 5.5 inches. You can’t really do anything with that, I end up selling the tank soon after.

I’ve gotten custom all in one acrylic tanks from advanced acrylics based in Orange County. John’s a great guy.

The tanks were good no issues. I’m just not a fan of maintaining an acrylic tank long term. My current AIO has so many micro scratches and I’ve never felt comfortable polishing it. You also need strong magnets if your walls are thick. And I haven’t had the best of luck with keeping the acrylic clean with acrylic safe magnet cleaners.

@vicorhe is it hard to drill a glass tank?

It’s doable, I’ve done it twice. I followed a YouTube tutorial, there are many out there. I wasn’t perfectly perpendicular, but I got the job done.

Another option I had was to pay my local fish store $100 service fee for drilling, I think it was CK fish world, based in Azusa that quoted that. You would still buy the overflow kit yourself.

Hey, I actually set up a macroalgae 60SA (60S with an All-in-one chamber) recently for the office.

Just a heads-up, too: we have some new, larger super-shallow sizes available soon if you were looking for something larger. They are 3ft (35.43" X 22.04" X 9.84") and 4ft (47.24" X 23.62" X 9.84").
