The system is 10 yeas old 2 year ago I had to move so when I moved everything except the fish died and a few hardy coral and the rocks sand and coralline algea survived then it sat 2 years with some water changes but not many, the the last 2 clown fish pair about ten years old passed so. I decided to clean and revive the whole thing this is one month ago I will try to get pics of the system in theold house before moving. It was full of hammers

Lighting is nicrew hyperreef 150 gen 2 very good light. Return pump MLmaxi jet 1200.circulayton is hygger controllable DC up to 1700g per hour but it's on lowest. I have matrix and substituted the bio cube cartridge with 1coarse blue filter pad and 2 dual density filter pads with rox. 0.8 in between them and a lot of matrix in there like 2 /3rds of the filter caddy has seachem matrix. And a custom biocube lid from kraken reefs "very nice work" first I tried brs DIY net lid it was a Disaster I couldn't get it to stay together

Great looking tank! In the future, what are your plans for your tank?

here is 2019 before I moved houses but all the rocks and sand and bio filter all still the same and were kept alive during move so no pause in microfauna/bacteria these are oldest Pics I have I don't have pics of setup as I did it all in one day no planning just woke up one day and said "I want a bigger tank" but I'll find more.

Future plans are just add one a few more shrooms and bottem placement coral. The nem is already stinging the stylophora coral so I can't put anything even remotely close to the BTA. It expands a lot in the day and no more fish but a always add new inverts for reef cleaners love those Halloween hermits and blue knuckle hermits they have some ninja star astrea snails in too right now

I don't thing they are a encrusting coral there more of a fleshy coral with a skellaton think that the plate as a whole makes a skeleton you should be able to. Get that off the frag then it will grow flatter

Curious how you have that return pump setup. One of my tanks is a biocube 32 and I want to replace the stock one with something more quiet because of how loud it is.

In regular pump Mode is 295 gallons per hour Little bit stronger than the biocube one. I've been using it for years very quiet make sure u leave the suction cups on the bottem but don't push them Just use them as little feet that helps with sound or you could get a DC controllable. One this fits but it's expensive

or this one fits if you want to use a app but the first the the one I use is only 20 on Amazon now
