Should I continue dosing or no?

The situation is I’m ordering clowns from dr Reef and my tank is finished with the cycling process. It says the clowns should take around a week to ship. Not sure entirely when it would arrive but I assume between 1- 2 weeks. Am I supposed to keep dosing ammonia to keep bacteria alive or leave it alone.

I would keep dosing ammonia if more than a couple days. Doesn't take much and you may want to do water change if nitrate climbs above 10-20 ppm.

You could just sprinkle some food in instead of adding ammonia.
